Responsibilities
This ten to twelve week programme will give you valuable insight into a career in banking, providing hands-on experience and on-the-job training to gain a head start in your career after graduation. We also look to the programme to provide a pipeline of future management talent.

You will have a structured curriculum, which will help you to decide your future career options. You will undertake a specific project with key deliverables and be assigned to a project supervisor who will guide and enhance your learning experience during your time with us. During the Singapore Summer Internship Programme, you will be challenged to use your talents and academic knowledge to add value to the bank and improve your professional and personal skills. Internship programmes are offered in different business areas.

You will receive practical training that will complement your academic studies and help you build the skills and experience required to start a successful career with HSBC. Over the course of the programme, you will benefit from:

Qualifications
  • Penultimate year students with at least a second-class upper honours degree (4.0 out of 5.0) or Cum Laude (3.4 out of 4)
  • Demonstrable, impressive leadership track record in school, dynamic personality, positive attitude and eager to contribute
  • Less than two years’ work experience
