Responsibilities
- The Officer for Risk P&L Business Control will be responsible for supporting the Global Equity Derivatives businesses. Reporting to an AVP, key tasks will be split by markets and supporting functions, and will include:
- Perform Front to Back Reconciliation between trading system and subledger for Equity Derivative trading performed Globally
- Ensure transactions flow to the Subledger accurately and in a timely manner
- Work closely with teams in Front/Middle/Back office to evaluate risks and resolve downstream failure of transactions
- Support the Trading Desk with any questions related to P&L
- Provide daily and weekly reporting on P&L activities to internal clients
- Work proactively to create more effective Reconciliation Systems and enhance processes for improved efficiency and control
- Manage ad-hoc projects and liaise with internal counterparts in different regions
- Opportunity to lead a team, mentor junior staff and oversee their day-to-day functions.
Qualifications
- We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail.
- This position requires daily liaising with multiple groups across the organization which means the candidate must the ability to communicate at a high level and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
- This is a P&L Business Control role and the candidate must demonstrate maturity and have a good understanding of Equity products and corporate actions.

Essential Education:
- Degree qualification is essential
Essential Experience/Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in MS Product Suite i.e. Excel, Word etc
- Exposure to Equity products and corporate actions
Language skills:
- Fluent in English.
