Products and services include syndicated loans, trade finance, deposit-taking, foreign currency savings, remittances, mortgage loans, consumer loans, credit cards, Cyberbanking, retail investment and wealth management services, private banking, Renminbi services, foreign exchange margin trading, broking services, Mandatory Provident Fund services, and general and life insurance.

Responsibilities
Through the 24-month Management Trainee ("MT") Programme, BEA identifies and grooms its future leaders.  Trainees gain in-depth knowledge of the banking and financial fields through on-the-job development and extensive training within the Bank's core functional units.

In addition to receiving extensive exposure to the Bank¡¦s business and operations, trainees will have opportunities to be actively involved in various corporate events including Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") projects throughout the 24-month period. Given the Bank's international network and strong presence in Mainland China, trainees may also gain China market and international banking exposure during the MT Programme.


Qualifications
  • hold a bachelor's degree (honours) or above from a reputable university (local or overseas) and have not more than two years of work experience;
  • be self-motivated, mature, and possess a strong drive for excellence;
  • be a good team player and a natural leader;
  • have excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • possess an excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua; and
  • be passionately committed to developing a long-term career in the banking industry.
