Responsibilities
Will be mentored by art directors to learn about various elements of design from the layout, to story conceptualisation, and ultimately page design. You should be proficient in doing research for story ideas, and be resourceful in getting props to stage a shoot, coordinating key elements of a shoot (personality/model/ products), checking and collating materials produced for post-production work, and designing final layouts.
Qualifications
- Be proficient in Adobe InDesign
- Have a fine sense of aesthetics (do indicate a list of books/magazines you may draw inspiration from)
- Be meticulous, with an eye for details.
- Digital Imaging knowledge is good but not critical. Experience in a school publication would be useful as well but not vital.
