Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and communication for all repair technical requirements to P&W Global Service Partners’ businesses
- Provide quality component repair technical data for all engine models using Integrated Product Development methods
- Evaluate repair requests and interface with P&W Engineering to establish repair design requirements
- Co-ordinate the design, development and substantiation of repairs in conjunction with local business units and P&W OEM Engineering, as well as manage a portfolio of repair development technology projects from the laboratory to the shop floor
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, majoring in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
- Masters in Engineering will be an advantage
- Preferably with experience in a program environment related to engine hardware, design/development/Global Service Partners’ support/manufacturing processes or metallurgy with a track record in jet engine component design, development or repair
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and customer needs
- Highly analytical with strong communication skills and a flair for creativity
