Headquartered in Singapore, Prochem currently has an office and laboratory at the Science Park. The company also has two fully-functional off -site laboratories with support functions such as analytical testing. It is also currently expanding its R&D facilities. 

Responsibilities
  • Assist with our experiments in production, post-processing and analysis of composite nanoparticles and conducting repetition of these experiments to ensure consistency is achieved in the results attained.
  • Collect data and analyse samples using analytical techniques such as DLS (dynamic light scattering), measuring refractive index and viscosity of nanoparticles dispersions, utilising UV-Vis equipment, FTIR spectrometer, etc..
  • Setting up and perform routine maintenance / calibration of laboratory equipment

Qualifications
  • Degree / Masters in an Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science discipline
  • Some experience in utilising analytical equipment would be an advantage (training will be provided)
  • Experienced in using all the Microsoft Office packages - Word / Excel /PowerPoint / Outlook
  • Some experience in working in a laboratory environment focussing on performing experiments is desirable

Qualifications
  • Major in political science, international relations, or other social science fields preferred but NOT required.
  • Possess excellent research (internet), analytical and written skills.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and working on an online environment.
  • Excellent ability to work independently, multitask and meet tight datelines.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Fluency in any other South Asian language is an asset.

Program overview

Charity: Andrew Grace Home ¬ formerly known as Andrew and Grace Home is a home for troubled teenagers. A Memorandum of Understanding was re-signed between Covenant Presbyterian Church (CPC) and Presbyterian Community Services (PCS) on 1 August 2010 to establish and manage AG Home, as a project and a full-fledged Residential Home for Teenage girls at risk. PCS is registered under the Charities Act 1982 and is a member of the National Council of Social Services. Our clients comprise of teenage girls who are either juvenile delinquents that are beyond parental control or are victims of sexual and/or physical abuse. Mission of AG Home is to love the unloved by reaching out to troubled youths and families and providing a temporary place of refuge so that lives may be restored, renewed and revived.
