Responsibilities
The Analyst Research Training (ART) program is two years in length. Upon the completion of an initial training program in Singapore, participants will be assigned to an equity research sector or thematic team.
  • Provide integral support to single stock research teams
  • Build, maintain and update company forecasts and valuation models
  • Conduct market share, macro trend, and cross company and sub sector data analysis
  • Work closely with Content Management Group to ensure timely publication of research reports
  • Prepare and produce insightful company specific projects  
  • Perform statistical analysis of economic data, fundamentals, and relevant correlations of the data
  • Listen to and produce briefing notes on companies’ conference calls and analyst briefings
  • Attend morning calls and contribute as necessary
  • Update monthly reports, marketing books, and daily valuation sheets

Qualifications
  • University degree (finance; accounting major preferable, with an understanding of how to read financials and valuations)
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience working in research

  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work in a high-paced environment
  • Indonesia Bahasa language skills are required to liaise with clients and colleagues in other teams in Asia Pacific region

BestTop – Career Sharing Session with Master students from School of Accountancy

Many students are struggling to find a career path and direction to fit their academic background.  To help Master students of Accountancy. BestTop mentors were invited to share with the faculty for a career sharing session on 22 October 2015.

With this exclusive partnership, 30 students in Accountancy have separated into 9 groups to interact with mentors from BestTop. During the sharing session, students were given an opportunity to get first-handed insights from mentors working in Auditing, Banking, Investment Firms, Consulting and Advisory.

This sharing session aims to encourage students to understand the daily operations of working professionals and for them to explore prospective career paths available after graduation. Each group of students will take turns to meet with individual mentors for 20 minutes at a time. Upon the sound of the bell, students would have to transfer to the next mentor, until the group finishes the entire batch of 9 mentors.

All in all, it was a fruitful event to many students as they get to enjoy this rare opportunity of extending their network by meeting working professionals with similar academic backgrounds. BestTop would like to extend our appreciation for School of Accountancy, for inviting us for this event.

Operations

Technology
