LinkedIn opened its Singapore office in 2011 and now hosts circa 140 employees. Singapore is also our regional HQ for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. It is a dynamic office serving the Southeast Asia (SEA) region and we have employees from all around the world bringing vibrant cultural diversity. Due to the success of the office, the growing-need to provide local support to our global clients and service clients outside Singapore, we are excited to be expanding the team.

Responsibilities
As a Sales Intern, you will have four key functions: Sales Planning, Research, Project Work and Marketing. You will support the entire Sales team through the sales process.

You will receive full training on Salesforce.com and other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and you will be able to use it on a daily basis to support our Sales Team.
You will be highly involved with business critical tasks such as verifying inbound leads and account creation.
Aid with the automation and standardization of prospecting processes.
You will also have the opportunity to attend client calls and receive training on selling techniques.
You will liaise with the Marketing team to coordinate sales follow up with prospective clients.

Qualifications
  • Currently undertaking an undergraduate degree in penultimate year in Singapore
  • Actively involved in social media
  • Strong interest in sales and business development
  • Passion. We want you to come in to work, excited about being here!
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must.
  • Great interpersonal skills, creativity and a good sense of humor!
