The Asia Pacific Supply Demand Management (SDM) group is responsible for planning and managing supply to meet demand of Apple products (such as iPhones, iPods, Macs) within the Pacific Region. Dynamic internship opportunities exist for undergraduates who are highly motivated and passionate to acquire new skills and knowledge. This internship opportunity also provides a glimpse to Apple's unique and highly successful supply chain model.
Responsibilities
Work on projects for process automations for planning & allocation teams (60%). Automations include using Apple scripts to avoid manual/repetitive tasks and also to identify exceptions Troubleshoot existing automations when issues arise (20%). Assist planning & allocation teams in ad-hoc requests on changes in planning tools (10%). Assist Decision Support team in setting up data archive on SDM shared server (5%). Assist Decision Support team to update training and documentation on Ops Wiki (5%) Document automations developed
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in MS Excel Strong knowledge of programming languages
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous with strong business acumen and consumer focus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
