Responsibilities
- Represent Compuware as a product expert on the APM suite
- Ensure critical business transactions are effectively monitored with appropriate time intervals, alert thresholds and event actions
- Maintain and enhance dashboard interfaces and reports to meet requirements of IT and business users
- Deliver high-value APM services that help customers troubleshoot, profile, and predict application performance across their distributed environment
- Evaluate current deployment and plan migration path
- Back up current system configuration and data
- Upgrade software components to new releases and validate functionality
- Educate client IT and business users on new release capabilities
- Document new system specifications with Compuware Technical Support
Qualifications
- Recently degreed in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- Ability to tackle complex application environments to provide customers with clear guidance on implementation strategy and potential performance improvements
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel extensively across Europe
- Internship, co-op and/or significant IT project-based assignments while at university
- Strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong passion and desire to learn new technology
- Solid presentation and writing skills and experience with creating professional reports and deliverables
- Expertise in one or more of these key technologies is desirable:
- J2EE, ASP.NET, web development
- Networking
- Databases
- Citrix, VMware
- Java, .NET
