Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global business development team in a fast-paced, global organization within a dynamic and unique industry. Based in Singapore, the intern will assist the Senior Vice President, Business Development Asia-Pacific in shaping SES’ strategic position in the region.
During the internship, there will be mentor(s) to guide and provide feedback to the intern. At the end of the internship, the intern should have gained a good understanding of the satellite landscape across the entire value chain in Asia-Pacific. The internship is expected to last about 8-10 weeks, but is flexible depending on the circumstances of the intern.
Producing selected satellite operators’ profiles through the gathering and analysis of relevant data from public and private sources.
Producing a presentation and report on the opportunities and challenges for satellite communications in selected countries in Asia-Pacific.
Qualifications
SES is looking for someone who is comfortable with data gathering and analysis and takes the initiative to learn about the satellite industry. The ability to work independently and with people from various functional departments and geographical locations is important.
Candidate should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Management;
Ability to manage and analyze data from various sources;
Ability to work independently and in small teams;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; good English in oral and writing.
