Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional Head, Airport Passenger& Cargo Services (Asia-Pacific), the intern may be required to provide organizational, operational and analytical support for the APCS team in Asia Pacific. In this role, the incumbent will learn to identify, assess and respond effectively to the needs of airlines especially in relation to airport operations. He/she will learn the different ways IATA contributes to the aviation industry and business processes for delivery of IATA’s priorities and perform the following duties:
· Collect, analyze and organize statistical data on airlines and airports in the region;
· Assist in the collection/analysis of information for any of the ongoing APCS campaigns in the region;
· Coordinate communications for APCS team including preparation of reports, submissions, official memos, and Power Point presentations;
· Track and compile market intelligence related to APCS campaigns in the region;
· Support team efforts to continuously improve, develop new skills, tools and processes, enhance communications and reporting, etc;
· Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration/and or equivalent degree preferred within a year of graduation;
Excellent communications and written skills in English is a must;
Excellent knowledge of MS software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point);
Excellent proven skills in organization, diplomacy and confidentiality;
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, able to multi-task, respond accurately and promptly;
Highly motivated individual with self-starter and teamwork skills.
