Responsibilities
Providing quantitative analytical support and research assistance to the team in charge of assigning ratings to banks and other financial institutions in the South and Southeast Asian region.
Gathering of financial and economic data relevant to financial institutions’ credit trends and preparation of financial spreadsheets for the purpose of comparative statistics, and company and industry research
Supporting the analytical team’s public and media outreach initiatives by accomplishing various administrative tasks for the purpose of producing a monthly newsletter and presentations slides.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or a graduate degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting. An MBA and CFA studies would be assets.
A strong analytical mind, ability to deal with complexity and willingness to learn.
Strong sense of responsibility and able to work under time pressure.
A good command of spoken and written English. Other language skills relevant to the region would be an asset.
A high level of computer literacy, including advance knowledge of Excel and Power Point.
