Responsibilities
Designed for fresh graduates aspiring to carve a career in banking, you’ll get a clear head start with OCBC Young Bankers programme. We have carefully put together a 12-month structured programme to prepare you for a division-specific role within the Bank.
The learning journey begins with comprehensive industry orientation, followed by extensive training, overseas exposure, in-depth job rotations and personalised mentoring by senior managers in order to equip you with a strong banking foundation. You will be assessed continuously on your potential to succeed in this fast-paced and demanding career. Your outstanding work performance, strong leadership qualities and positive attitude will put you in a good stead to be selected for fast-tracking to become the professional banker for our future.
To join the programme in 2014, you may choose one of the following major tracks:

- Analytical, organized and meticulous
- A quality and innovative mindset
- Able to multi task and work in a fast pace environment
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills, team oriented and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- A good Honours Degree/Graduate
- A go-getters with high levels of motivation and drive, those who are ultimately interested in an accelerated career in the banking industry
- Other qualities that stand you in strong consideration for the programme are a degree with good honours, less than 2 years of working experience and a penchant for problem solving and new challenges.
