Employer Description
The Division of Engineering and Technology Management, National University of Singapore, invites applications for a Post-doc position in technology and innovation management. The position is limited to one year, but can be continued based on successful further funding. The starting date of the position is July 2015, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The position is linked to research on innovation strategies for biotechnology firms, with specific focus on Intellectual Property (IP) management. The project will involve literature review, case studies of selected companies in Singapore, data collection from secondary sources and statistical analyses.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing person, who must be a good team player and be able to work independently at the same time. The person should have excellent communication and written skills and be able to guide research assistants who will be hired for the project. Candidate with engineering and/or business background and with research experience in the following topics will be preferred.
- Product development and technology management
- Intellectual property (IP) management
- Inter-organizational collaborations and technology transfer
Qualifications
Applicants for the Post-Doc position must have a PhD degree related to one of the above mentioned research areas and have existing track record of publishing in top-tier journals or a clear demonstration of the ability to do so.
