Responsibilities
- In-depth research of companies and industries to support the Investment Team.
- Quarterly update notes on current holdings and initiation notes on new investment ideas.
- All-Sector coverage of equities listed in Global Emerging Markets.
- Participate in conference calls with company management and industry stakeholders.
- Due-diligence, channel checking and data collection/verification.
- Financial modelling, valuation assessment, financial statement analysis.
- Macroeconomic, fiscal and monetary policy analysis of countries and markets.
- Any ad-hoc duties as per required.
Qualifications
- Minimum GPA of 3.3 (for SMU), 4.0 (for NUS and others).
- Year 2 undergraduates and above.
- Any Degree discipline is welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, financial ratios and accounting.
- Basic understanding of financial markets, equities and fixed Income.
- Basic MS Excel Modelling abilities.
- Prior experience or coursework in financial accounting, financial statements analysis, equity analysis, fixed income analysis, asset valuation, business analysis, economic analysis, statistics, corporate finance, banking and other related fields.
- Driven, self-motivated individuals who are serious about a career in the financial industry.
- Good writing, communication and sales abilities.
- Resourceful and independent worker but able to assimilate well as a team member.
- Keen attention to detail, accurate, organized and hardworking.
