Responsibilities

• Conduct market, country, regional and portfolio analysis to assist Commercial Sales Managers to identify opportunities for the lease, finance purchase and sale of commercial aircraft and helicopters. Such analysis may also be used for review of new and existing jurisdictions with a view to entry, hold or reducing exposure to jurisdictions or counterparties.
• Interface with the cross functional deal team to support the preparation of Letters of Intent, Aircraft Specific Lease Agreements, Common Terms Agreements and Transaction Approval Papers.
• Support the preparation of maintenance events projection, product life cycle, technical economic value/maintenance cost analysis, cost to market of aircraft, aircraft/engine portfolio management and portfolio exposure analysis to enhance business decision making.
• Liaise and support internal GECAS Sales Organization, Marketing Operations, Technical, Legal, Risk, Finance and Tax.
• Support Operating Lease, Finance Lease, Sale & Lease Back, Loan and Asset Sales activity.
• Collate and analyze sales performance metrics for ongoing review, performance management and process improvement.
• Liaise with Aircraft/Engine Manufacturer (Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, Bombardier, GE Aviation, Rolls Royce and Prat t; Whitney). 

Qualifications

• Must be able to commute to GECAS Singapore office.
• Must commit to entire (8-12 weeks) internship period.
• Must have unrestricted authorization (Student pass for non-Singaporean) to work locally in Singapore. 
• Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening including reference verification and background checks.
• Must be willing to travel occasionally when called upon.
• To be eligible, students must be entering their final/3rd year of University Degree at an accredited local university and rank within the top 25% of their class.
• Fields of study may vary and include: Accounting/Business Administration, Economics, International Affairs, Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, Aviation & Air Transport Management.
• Must be passionate about the Aviation Industry.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and oral (a proficiency in another language will be an additional bonus but not necessarily a requirement).
• Strong MS Office skill (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivator and possess confidence to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proactive mindset to identify and prioritize problems/solutions quickly.
• Operate effectively as a member of a global and diverse team.
