Responsibilities
The 15 months program is aimed to develop high-potential candidates to ensure succession pipeline for Technical Marketing
  • Provide sound technical & commercial solutions on product-application development to customers and OEM/brand owners 
  • Support application and Product Development/Improvement projects with customers as well as within SABIC 
  • Support segmentation plan with Business Management and Sales Organization
  •  Analyze segment & application market trends, gaps, competitors portfolio and opportunities and implement segment strategy in close collaboration with Business & Sales according to Business Plan 
  • Provide inputs on required product portfolio strategy in line with market needs and the production capabilities of SABIC assets (NPI/NPD) 
  • Provide regular technical/market segment training to Customers and SABIC Sales to increase awareness and seek further market opportunities 
  • Support in translating market analysis in T&I projects (product developments, product phase outs, product cost price reductions) 
  • Assist Technical Centre on complaint analysis and provide advice on final technical complaint justification
Qualifications
  • Good Bachelors or Honors degree in Polymers Science or Chemical Engineering 
  • 0-2 years relevant experience in plastic processing or marketing 
  • Fresh graduates who have extensive intern experience or are active in extra-curricular activities will be preferred
  • Possess broad functional understanding or work experience in a related industry 
  • Good communication skills including effective command of written and spoken English 
  • Adaptability to international environment with different cultures 
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated personal leadership and effective collaboration skills 
  • Program will start 1st July 2015
