BP is one of the largest traders of oil and gas in the world. Integrated Supply and Trading (IST) is the market-facing component of all our trading activities. It combines all our oil, gas, power and chemical trading activities and has a dedicated financial markets trading team that manages our daily exposure to global currency and interest rate fluctuations. We work with other energy companies, financial institutions such as investment banks and hedge funds, as well as companies looking to reduce their exposure to the risks of changing oil prices. Responsibilities
IST Global Oil EH's Trading Development Program (TDP) is a two- to three-year programme focused on developing trading professionals. Through a combination of continual training and job rotations, we will expose you to one of the hottest sectors and some of the best traders in the energy industry.
From the ground up, a fully structured program where you will rotate through different roles, each of them demanding real outputs, with real accountability for driving commercial value. On our Trading Development Program, we'll give you the jobs which teach you what you need to know about trading energy.
Qualifications
Strong academic record and a bachelor or higher degree in any discipline.
Less than 2 years professional work experience.
Fully mobile and willing to move to any BP location during your Trading Development Program.
Bachelor Degree or higher education
Internship or some commercial experience
