Shaw Theatres is a film distribution company and movie theatre chain in Singapore (part of the Shaw Organisation) was founded by the Shaw Brothers and has been operating cinemas in Singapore since 1927.

It owns 7 cinemas across the island (more theatres coming up this year and in 2015), and we feature the latest in cinema technologies like IMAX, Dolby 7.1 Surround and RealD 3D systems.

Responsibilities

• The media intern position will play an important role in the following
• Maintaining and updating website film contents such as movie keyarts and film info.
• Work on online communications for contest and promotion giveaway.
• Design online media and creative assets such as animated banners, ecards.
• Content management & scheduling of movie trailers, advertisements & promotions on our media screens.
• Edit movie trailers & video conversions for various media platforms.
• Assist & manage in the duplication of digital trailers/films for local distribution.
• Assist in the testing of digital content in the theatres
• Administration of all artworks & video produced including archiving and packing of prizes and goodie bags.
• Internship period of minimum 5 months, starting from Septemeber 2014

Qualifications

• Fast learner and able to multi-task and work efficiently with careful attention to details.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude, pro-active, flexible and organized.
• Good sense of urgency & responsibility to execute work and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
