We are currently recruiting graduates across the Asia Pacific region to join our Business Management Graduate Development Programme. BT is one of the world’s leading communications services companies, serving the needs of customers in more than 170 countries. Our main activities are the provision of fixed-line services, broadband, mobile and TV products and services as well as networked IT services. In Asia Pacific specifically, our focus is to provide communications and ICT solutions to local customers, regional and global multi-site corporations as well as communications service providers.
You’ll spend two years doing a rotational role. Some of the areas you might explore include:
- Project management,
- Customer management
- Business consultancy
- Contract management
- Sales
The aim of the programme is to help you develop the skills and experience you need to become a senior leader within BT. There’s all the learning you’ll do on the job. This is really important, as it gives you first-hand experience of how business works and how we solve problems for our customers. There’s also 20 days of formal training across the two years.

Entry requirements
To join our graduate programme, you must meet the criteria for the country you are applying for. You can only apply for one country. Applications for Singapore and Hong Kong are open now and applications for Australia will open at the beginning of 2012.
Singapore
You must have:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree with 2nd Upper Class Honors classification (or be on track to achieve this when you graduate). For GPA-based classification, you need a minimum GPA of 3.2 / 4 (or equivalent classification).
- If you have a postgraduate degree (e.g. MBA or PhD), we'll accept a 2nd Lower Class classification or equivalent.
- Fluency in English (IELTS at least 6.5 with no one individual proficiency lower than 6.5).
- The permanent right to work in Singapore.
