Responsibilities
Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP). Established since 1997, the program is structured to develop a pipeline of finance and business leaders through 2 years of training with cross-sector exposure.

The FLDP offers:
  • 2 rotations in 2 years
  • Varied business and technical experience
  • Coaching and development
  • Exposure to senior leadership
  • Exposure to different business models (pharmaceuticals, consumer products, medical devices, corporate)
  • Varied functional assignments (ranging from Operations Accounting, Financial Reporting, Sales & Marketing Finance, Internal Audit)
  • Develop strong foundation of leadership as well as technical accounting/finance skills

Financial Closing process (Journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations)

Business Plan and Forecast Updates/Sales Analytics

Opportunities for presentations, cross-functional collaborations, and business partner support

Budget vs. Actual Analysis/Trending
Capital Budgeting and Decision-Making
Sarbanes Oxley Controls and Compliance/Audit

Qualifications
  • Accountancy degree (2nd class Upper Hons degree and above)
  • Financial or quantitative interest/competency
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • No work experience or < 2 years external work experience
