GLG primarily serves the investment community doing primary research and improving the decision-making process by putting clients in touch with relevant experts through a variety of consulting methods, including telephone conversations, surveys, written reports and in-person meetings. GLG Research partners with investment firms, corporations, non-profits and professional services firms that need targeted, on-demand expertise to help improve decision-making. GLG Research provides professional services and sophisticated web-based compliance systems to help our clients connect to the most relevant experts while helping clients and experts manage potential conflicts.

Responsibilities

GLG’s research internship program is an exciting opportunity for university students or post-graduates looking to pursue a career in research, consulting, or finance. The program will look to further develop interns professionalism, industry knowledge, communication skills, and teamwork in a fast-growing global firm. Interns at GLG will work closely with our research professionals to handle due diligence inquiries from clients across the investment, consulting and corporate communities.
  • Recruit Industry experts across key Southeast Asia geographies
  • Assist research team to complete time-sensitive due diligence requests from financial institutions, management consultancies and multi-national corporations
  • Translate and update expert profiles
  • Convert data into GLG’s research management platform
  • Other research tasks based on team requirements

Qualifications
  • Current graduates/post graduates
  • Candidates who could commit 5 days a week for 6 months will be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English; one SEA language (Vietnamese, Indonesian Bahasa, etc) will be a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluency in using technology tools/software (MS Word, Excel)
