Responsibilities
Primary responsibility as a PR intern at R/GA Singapore is to support our Regional Business Director, Regional EVP and APAC MDs in Shanghai and Sydney, in their efforts to maintain and build awareness for R/GA’s offices across Asia Pacific. This role will be based out of Singapore, but be regional and across all three offices (Singapore, Sydney and Shanghai).
Internal Communications – create content for the weekly internal newsletters
- Weekly Executive Recap Reports
- Update rga.com as needed for the press section along with other sections when necessary
- Assist with research
- Manage and update PR “hit list” and track industry and non industry publications across all three offices
- Stay on top of our PR contacts: Liase with, update and manage contacts, improve relationships and add more contacts across all three offices
- Media Monitoring – as we start to ramp up PR in the region - tracking R/GA coverage across APAC publications
- Coordinate special projects & Update end of the year clip book
Qualifications
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Builds effective internal and external relationships – loves to network and meet people and get people excited about R/GA what makes us tick, what makes us different and what makes us some of the sharpest geeks in the industry
- Needless to say you need to know Singapore
- Knowledge of China and Australia will be of hugely advantageous
- Fluent in English and grammatically on-the-ball. Mandarin skills
