Responsibilities
- Support the traders on a day-to-day basis with opportunity to work on structuring/trading ideas
- Report generation
- Presentation preparation
- Trade inputs
- Gather market information
- Take responsibility to provide necessary support to the senior staffs as directed
- Initiate action to further improve skills and performance
- Provide other ad-hoc support where required
- To adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Currently studying towards a bachelors or masters degree or recently graduated within the last 12 months
- Expected to or have achieved a minimum 2.1 UK bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or IT
- Minimum 320 UCAS points (or equivalent GPA)
- Excellent IT programmer as well as being proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Understanding of financial and pricing theory would be an advantage
- Fluent in both written and spoken English; a foreign language (Mandarin, Korean) will be an advantage
- Ability to work well under pressure
