Responsibilities
  • Conduct data analytics on the nature of calls received by Singapore Customs Call Centre on trade related matters and permit applications commonly rejected on TradeNet
  • Conduct benchmarking on customer engagement touchpoints
  • Propose strategies to promote greater self-help by customers by migrating callers to Customs' online platforms such as website, e-services and email 

Qualifications
  • Students with background in data analytics or statistical analysis is preferred
  • Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to analyse information critically
  • Able to work independently, is resourceful and takes initiative
  • Positive attitude
  • Candidates who can commit for 4 months are preferred.

Researching financial and industry trends.
Creating statistical exhibits that analyse comparative financial performance.

Qualifications
  • You must be a university student in your penultimate year of study or first-year Masters student with outstanding academic credentials; preference given to financial/business-related studies. Students must graduate between December 2015 and July 2016.
  • Business fluency in Mandarin, Korean, Hindi or another Asian language is preferred for the Program in Singapore.
  • You are a team player with a strong work ethic who thrives with confidence when faced with intellectual challenges.
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to grasp complex data, manage multiple projects, provide complicated financial analysis and develop appropriate corporate finance solutions.
