Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain embedded software applications for instrument and control

Instrument Engineer (Life Science)

• Support production of instrument by working with all relevant parties to ensure reliability and quality of product
• Develop and perform assembly and testing of instrument according to internal specifications
• Support instrument installations and any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair
• Provide instrument training and support to customers
• Support activities to reduce production cost, lead-time and improve product reliability and quality
• Prepare and update manuals and procedures

Qualifications

Software Engineer

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering or equivalent discipline
• 1-3   years of experience in software/firmware development
• Familiar with programming with development boards e.g. Arduino board
• Knowledge in Visual Basic & C/C++ Programming, HTML
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux 
• Familiar with automation control e.g. knowledge of XY stage/motor control   
• Familiar with microcontroller/microprocessor programming 
• Familiar with interfacing with camera 
• Experience with instrument development, hardware integration, and image analysis 
• Knowledge in PCB Layout is an advantage 
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Instrument Engineer (Life Science)

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Bioengineering or relevant engineering discipline 
• 1-3 years relevant experience in instrument design, build, and assembly, preferably in life science or biomedical instrumentation 
• Knowledge in motion control, optical imaging and machine vision 
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and schematics 
• A good team player with strong interpersonal communication skill
• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of appointed task to follow through to completion with little supervision.
